Henrique Lallo Jaloto is a painter of landscapes and daily scenes.
Born in the countryside of São Paulo, the artist finds inspiration in the experiences of his own life to create his canvases.
“I like to show what is happy, simple, the beauty of divine creation, things that I have lived with along the years.”
He creates his paintings mixing traditional and experimental techniques, always look-
ing for a strong contrast between light and dark tones.
“I like paintings with a very watery ink, in which the aquarelle istelf now spreads, now accumulates, with a little handling by me”
The horse is a recurring theme on his canvases, in which he explores the movements of the animal in bright colors and textured brushstrokes.
